CSA

The Children's Services Act (CSA) is a 1993 Virginia law that provides for the pooling of eight specific funding streams used to purchase services for high risk youth and their families. The purpose of this act is to provide high quality, child centered, family focused, cost effective, community based services to high risk youth and their families. Funds for CSA services are managed at the local level by interagency teams specifically appointed for each locality.

The Community Policy and Management Team (CPMT) meets at the Radford Social Services Department the first Thursday of every month starting at 9AM. This meeting is open to the public; however the team will go into closed session to discuss cases.
