Map Data

A geographic information system (GIS), captures, stores, analyzes, manages, and presents data that is linked to a spatial location. GIS focuses on relating non-spatial data to spatial data and analyzing the relationship between the two. It involves digital mapping with applications in remote sensing, land surveying, aerial photography, mathematics, photogrammetry, geography, engineering, biology, geology, and more! The City of Radford GIS department has an online directory where you can download map data and request map data.
